David Lively

David LivelyIn January of 1998, Barbara and I lost our youngest son in an automobile accident.

Adam was a senior philosophy major at East Tennessee State University at the time.

A few weeks before his accident, Adam told his Mom that if anything happened to him, he wanted to be an organ donor. When the organ procurement nurse from Mountain Region Donor Services approached us we knew exactly what Adam would have wanted. In all, 52 people have been helped because of his wonderful donation.

Barbara and I have had the opportunity of meeting three of Adam's organ recipients. Each time we hear from them we are reminded of how wonderful Adam's gift is. .
