Frank X. Bodino

Frank who was born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in Lincoln Park, NJ was a graduate of Bergen Pines School of Radiologic Technology where he received his radiological technology degree. He later entered into the sales field and sold x-ray equipment, x-ray film and related supplies for Litton Industries, GAF Corporation and Agfa Gaevert Corporation. Frank remained in the field for 25 years before suffering his sixth heart attack culminating in a diagnosis of cardiomyopathy. He required a heart transplant and remained in the hospital for eight months while waiting on an assist device. On August tenth of 1996 Frank received his “Gift of Life,” a heart transplant, at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Since his transplant Frank has experienced many great moments including the college graduations and successes of his three children.
