Steven Taibbi

Steven was born in Long Island, NY in 1953. Unfortunately, he was also born with two holes in his heart, (ASD – Atrial Septum Defect) which were repaired in 1958 and 1959, making him the first person to survive two open heart operations for ASD repair. He graduated with honors from New York Institute of Technology in 1977 and started Steven G. Taibbi Productions, and become a multi-award winning television producer/director/director of photography. He was also a Contributing Editor for Videography Magazine for ten years. In 1993 he left television and started ProNet Marketing an independent sales and marketing company. At this time he also became a national speaker and trainer on marketing and personal development. In July, 2000, he was informed he had developed idiopathic cardiomyopathy, which means a virus had settled in his heart and was killing it. Ironically, this had nothing to do with his childhood problems. After a 10 1/2 month wait, he received the gift of life on March 27, 2001. Today he is a an avid advocate for the cause of organ donation.
